Understanding Our Terms and Conditions

Application of These Terms

About Us: These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase of products and/or joinery services (“the Goods”) from Touch Bespoke Joinery Limited (Company No. 8430831), registered in England and Wales. Agreement to Terms: By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Orders are accepted via email confirmation or deposit payment. Customers must be 18+ and legally capable of entering a contract.

1. Price and Payment

1.1 Price Agreement

The agreed price will be as stated in the quotation. Changes must be agreed by both parties.

1.2 Supply-Only Sales

50% non-refundable deposit required to begin work
Deposit starts drawing and approval process
Remaining 50% payable before delivery/collection
Goods released only after full payment

1.3 Installation Sales

50% deposit to start process
40% interim payment before installation
10% final balance due within 14 days
Company may request 50% interim if payment risk arises

1.4 Late Payment

We may charge interest and recovery costs on overdue payments.

1.5 Deposit Holding

Deposits valid for 12 months unless agreed otherwise.

1.6 Refunds

Refunds are discretionary and processed within 28 days.

1.7 Cancellation

Cancellation after deposit incurs full project cost.

1.8 CIS Payments

20% labour deduction applies if CIS payments are stopped.

1.9 VAT

Commercial users must declare VAT status in writing.

1.10 Domestic VAT

Customers are treated as end users unless stated otherwise.

2. Quotations

2.1 Validity

Quotes valid for 14 days.

2.2 Pricing

Prices exclude VAT and additional costs unless stated.

2.3 Discounts

No discounts unless agreed in writing.

3. Goods

Goods match agreed specifications
Orders accepted under these Terms
Each order forms a separate contract

4. Delivery

Goods accepted upon delivery or installation
No liability for delays beyond our control
Risk transfers at delivery/installation
Storage charges may apply
Cancellation must be in writing
Customer responsible for insurance claim payments

5. Title to Goods

Ownership transfers after full payment
Company retains ownership until paid
Unwanted materials become company property

6. Damage in Transit

Report damage within 24 hours for repair or replacement.

7. Guarantee

Defects must be reported within required timeframe
External joinery must be maintained properly
Excludes misuse, rot, insect damage
Third-party warranties passed where applicable

8. Limitation of Liability

No liability for indirect losses
Liability capped at total price paid
Minor installation damage not fully covered

9. Joinery Work

Customer responsible for measurements (supply-only)
Natural wood variations apply
Finishing costs excluded unless stated

10. Specific Goods

Products must be treated/painted after delivery
Improper maintenance voids guarantee

11. General

Legal rights under Sale of Goods Act remain
No limitation on injury or negligence liability
Illegal use prohibited
No reproduction without permission

12. Default by Customer

We may terminate contracts or suspend deliveries if the customer breaches terms or faces insolvency.

13. Change Control

Changes require written agreement
Updated costs and timelines provided
50% deposit required for variations

14. Governing Law

Governed by England and Wales law
Disputes handled in relevant courts
Complaints resolved within 7 working days

15. Prohibited Uses

No illegal activity
No data misuse or hacking
No harassment or harmful content
Violations may result in termination

16. Privacy

Complies with GDPR
Data handled securely
